Forgive yet still forget?

Can you really forgive fully when you decide not to forget? Are we really able to hate the sin and forgive the sinner? It’s a good question. Getting our head, and more importantly, our heart around how forgiveness works is not always a straightforward process. Most people see forgiveness as telling the other person – I forgive you. Or saying the same to ourselves, depending on what the scenario was. Do these three little words have the power to release us from the constant nagging and memories that come with forgiveness?
