Celebrate Each New Day
Some days, and especially if we are going through a stressful time, sometimes we don’t feel like celebrating. Celebrating a new day isn’t about the traditional manner of celebrating. Celebrating a new day is about understanding that yesterday is past and we have a fresh opportunity to make a change, or take a rest, or reflect on a situation or implement the new. It can mean all or any of these. Or none. It might, to you, simply mean, acceptance that we have been one way and today we have a brand new canvas to create life in any which way we choose.
For me, celebrating a new day is about three separate issues.
I have a choice each day to decide how I want my day to pan out.
I can draw a line under yesterday and yester-year. It’s an opportunity to move on.
Hope. It represents growth. I get a brand new chance at being who I want to be. Who I aspire to be. Which means everything and anything.
So I celebrate each day, sometimes quietly, sometimes triumphantly, sometimes with an emotional release. I celebrate that I am able to move on from the past me and each day I have a fresh opportunity to be exactly the person I resonate with and inspire to be. What does celebrating each day mean to you?
