Eat as nature intended for your nutritional needs

Keeping up to date with the latest evidence and research surrounding nutrients and how they interact in the body, is not only a legal/ethical and professional requirement for a Clinical Nutritionist, but also one of the most interesting parts of my role.

In recent years, papers have been published about supplementation of Calcium and the impact that it has on our cardiovascular health. What was clear from the research is that dietary sources of Calcium, instead of tablet or supplementation form, is a much better way of safely keeping up the essential daily calcium levels.

I am fascinated by how much food can influence or deter health and eating whole foods brings a whole rainbow of nutrients and phytochemicals (little bursts of health busting goodness) into our bodies.

Always move back into eating your nutrients in their natural form, your health will thank you for it.
