I must… Or must I?

Here’s an idea for you to try:

Swap your mental vocabulary from “I must” and replace with “I will do more/less of”.

Take the pressure off yourself and move into a positive state of changing.

I am not sure if I blame the age of instantaneous or if I am just getting older, however, I am not sure when it became commonplace to feel that we have to do all or nothing in life. The pressure we sometimes put ourselves under is incredible.

Next time you approach issues you want to address, go with the thought process “I will do more of abc… and less of xyz” and feel the release of “must change” whilst moving into the choice of change.
