Subconsciously – what is your message to the world?
Words, either written or spoken are not the first port of call when you are conveying what you want to the world. The words themselves are meaningless if our energy doesn’t match the essence of those very words and they end up falling down unheard.
People pick up on vibes and body language much more easily than the words themselves, so it is vitally important that our bodies, our energy and our vibration matches the intention we are speaking.
In other words, subsconsciously – what are you telling people?
Since starting to present Facebook Lives each week at BEST Studio Facebook page, I have become a bit of a taskmaster at critiquing my body language and energy levels when on screen. For instance, if I am saying to my audience that I have had a nice day today and my energy is low, I doubt they believe what I am saying. I wouldn’t even believe me. As a stranger watching my message, you would automatically question my honesty and authenticity as a person, as opposed to what was really going on (which was the dog was trying to get out of the room and I wasn’t sure if I should pause the live, ignore her… etc… but you get the picture).
It’s that easy to give the wrong impression of yourself to someone else.
It works in many avenues.. subconscious messages from body language and energy is a helpful way to see if someone is struggling. Paying attention to small non-verbal signs and feeling intuitively what is going on can be incredibly helpful. Sometimes a small sign is given out subconsciously because someone wants to reach out for help, but can not find the words to say so.
It helps you realise why you might not have got the job or why someone is being a bit reserved with you. Perhaps your subconscious message is hitting a nerve with them, bringing up an uncomfortable feeling with them. At times like this, it is good to recognise that we can only be responsible for self however, we can be sensitive to those around us. Finding rapport with others is an excellent tool to help build relationships. If you want to know more, google it and research some techniques.
But mainly, I suggest to you to think about what you are saying and if it is true to how you feel at that moment. When you are being mindful, authentic and honest, your subconscious will back you up all the way. Feeling that “empowered truthful” feeling will lead you towards a healthier, happier life.
