Keeping up your water intake during Winter

Keeping up your water intake during winter. We are heading into colder weather here on the Southern Hemisphere and the one thing I have noticed is that I am finding it harder to drink my usual eight glasses of still good quality water. So what to do?

Firstly, habit breeds routine – so keep on it. Keep a tally chart (mine is on the kitchen blackboard) and mark off each tall glass drunk. Helps as a reminder.

Another is to swap your usual water for some caffeine free warm tea infusions. There are so many beautiful teas in the shops, go buy a nice infusion to drink.

Eating your water intake is a good idea, so make some soups and freeze into individual portions to access at any time of the day for a veggie boost and a hydration buzz.

Your health will thank you for it.
